Artificially Created Objects of the Nature Reserve Fund Parks-Monuments of Landscape Gardening Art and their Representativenessin the Volyn Region

Purpose. To give an objective assessment of the current ecological condition of artificially created objects of the nature reserve fund. Methods. Comparative-geographical, generalization, systematization, statistical, comparative-analytical, descriptive, cartographic. Results. Not all types of artificial objects of nature reserve fund of Volyn region are represented. There are 12 park-monuments of landscape art, 1 botanical garden, 1 zoo and no dendrological park. On the whole, the number of artificial objects of nature reserved fund in the region is the lowest in Ukraine. On the territory of the region there is an uneven distribution of artificial objects of the nature reserve fund. An analysis of the distribution of artificial objects of nature reserve fund by area revealed that the largest one is the park-monument of landscape art «Slovianskyy» (27,35 hectares). It is located in the Volodymyr-Volynskyy district. From 12 to 21,6 hectares of landscapes in Lutsk, Gorokhiv, Turiysk, Lyubeshiv and Kivertsy districts is occupied by the park-monuments of landscape art. In the Starovyzhivsky district, the area of park-monuments of landscape art is 2 hectares, while in other districts there are no areas for artificial objects of nature reserve fund. All arti-ficial objects of nature reserve fund were created in 1960-1990. Only one park-monuments of landscape art was created in 2018. It is called «Sydorukiv Park» and is located in the city of Horokhiv. Most of the park-monuments of landscape art are located within settlements and only 2 parks are located in the territo-ry of forestry. In total, more than 150 species of flora are protected in the territory of park-monuments of landscape art. Conclusion. As a result of the analysis, 3 species of flora were identified that grow on the territory of parks of monuments of landscape gardening art and are included in environmental lists (Epipactis hel-leborine, Syringa josikaea, Epipactis palustris). The most dangerous for them is tearing, digging, picking up bouquets, as well as a partial violation of the structure of ecotopes (deforestation, excessive recreation, etc.). It is proposed to strengthen the protection of these species by increasing the status of the nature con-servation object and assigning them to the territories of the nature reserve fund - botanical nature reserve of local importance.

It is analysed the condition of water resources and the level of its usage. It is predetermined the optimization of natures use of West Bug river basin sustem on the territoru of Volun region.

Structural Analysis of Higher Aquatic and Coastal-Aquatic Plants of Vyzhivka River

Purpose. Determination of the species composition and determination of the systematic and ecological structure of the aquatic and coastal-aquatic flora of the Vyzhivka River. Methods: morphological, botanical, comparative ecology, statistical. The ecological classification of species was given according to V. Papchenkov. Results. Flora of the Vyzhivka River has 36 species of higher aquatic and coastal-aquatic plants belonging to 31 genus, 20 families, 14 orders, 3 classes (Equisetopsida, Liliopsida and Magnoliopsida) and 2 divisions (Equisetophyta and Magnoliophyta). The Magnoliophyta division includes 35 species, or 97,22% of the total number of species. The species composition is dominated by representatives of the class Liliopsida. Up to 4 families of flora (Alismataceae, Hydrocharitaceae, Cyperaceae, Lemnaceae) own 41,66% of all species. The ecological structure of aquatic and coastal-aquatic plants of Vyzhivka river includes four ecotypes. The first place in terms of the number of species is occupied by hydrophytes, which amount 33,33% of the total number of species, hygrohelophytes are represented by 30,56%. The share of helophytes and hygrophytes, respectively, is 19,44% and 16,67%. Conclusions. As a result of the conducted research, the species composition and features of the ecological structure of the higher aquatic and coastal-aquatic flora of the Vyzhivka River were established. The greatest species diversity is characteristic for the plot number 1 – 24 species. In the second section, 21 species of aquatic and coastal aquatic plants were identified. The smallest number – 18 species, is in the third area. The anthropogenic factors have the greatest impact on biodiversity: the presence of a drainage system, straightening of the riverbed, the use of the river basin for agricultural needs, the discharge of insufficiently treated sewage of housing and communal services.

Geoecological aspects of research of the pool system of Western Bug river basin

Description of basic principles of management is given by resources natural on the basis of hike. Structurally-geographical preconditions of optimization of nature are certain in the pool system of the river Western Bug of the Vol-yn area. It is reasonable, that taking into account of the pool system primary there must be replacement of branch con-trol system by nature resources by a complex pool.

Estimation of Environmental Sustainability of the Landscape of the Basin Western Bug Rivers In Volyn Region

Purpose. Determination of ecological stability of landscapes of the basin of the Western Bug River and its tributaries in Volyn region. Methods. Comparative-geographical, analytical, generalization, systematization, calculation of ecological stability of the landscape on the basis of the method of E. Clementova, V. Heinig. Results. The calculation of the quantitative assessment of the ecological stability of the landscapes in the basins of the Western Bug tributaries revealed that the KESL1 index of the Pischadka, Neretva and the Zolotoha River ranges from 1.3 to 1.6. That making basin landscapes conditionally stable. River Studyanka and Luga range from 0,027 to 0,026, which testifies them to the unstable structure of the landscapes of the basin with pronounced instability. It is established that in the landscapes of the basin of the Western Bug River of Volyn Region, their ecologically balanced structure is predominant at the KESL1 1.04 index. This is due to the structure of the lands of the basin, where agricultural (arable land) cause a big loading and destabilized landscapes occupies in most of the area. The largest plots of arable land occupy the sub basins of the rivers Studyanka and Luga, and the smallest ones in the sub basins of the Neretva, Zolotukha and Gapa rivers, which is due to the significant forested areas of the basin. The qualitative assessment of ecological stability of the landscape is characterized by the coefficient of ecological stability of the biotechnical elements of the entire landscape of the K ESL2. Calculations of KESL2 showed that the landscape structure of the basin of the Western Bug River in the Volyn region is slightly stable and the index is 0.48. The KESL2 coefficients of the Studyanka and Lug lakes are 0.21 and 0.23 respectively, and characterize them as unstable geosystems. The structure of the landscapes of the basins of the Peschadka and Kopayevka rivers for KESL2 - (0,95 - 0,67) is stable. Consequently, intensive settlement of land, drainage of marshes, deforestation violated the integrity of landscapes led to their denaturalization. Particularly significant changes occurred in the southern part of the basin. Conclusions. As a result of the calculations of the quantitative assessment of the ecological stability of landscapes (KESL1), the landscapes of the basin of the Western Bug River in the Volyn region are conditionally stable. And according to the indicators of qualitative assessment of ecological stability of the landscape (KESL2), they are characterized as low-static geosystems. In general, determining the stability of the landscape is important for assessing the ecological situation of the basin of the Western Bug River, since it fully reflects the overall ecological status of the river basin.

Ecological status of surface water of the river Stokhid basin

Purpose. The analysis of the surface water quality of the Stokhid river, the definition of the class and the category of water quality. Methods. Comparative geographic, analytical, generalization and systematization. Results. Inner annual dynamics of the components of the hydro chemical conditions of surface water composi-tion is closely linked with river runoff, the formation of which occurs due to loss of precipitation and nutrition of groundwater. Based on the analysis of monitoring observations, carried out by the State Environmental Inspec-torate in the Volyn region for the period from 2007 to 2017, it has been determined the multi-year time and spa-tial dynamics of the average annual values of integrated environmental indices by the average values. They are following: in the village Malinovka IE aver. = 2,2 and in Lyubeshiv village IE aver. = 2,4. The water of river Stokhid belongs to the second class of quality ("good", "pure"), to the second category ("very good", "very pure") and subcategories 2 (3) ("very good", " clean" water with a tendency to approach the category of "good", "fairly clean") respectively. Dynamics of average annual values of integral ecological indexes for the worst values in village Malinovka IE worst = 2,6 and in the village Lyubeshiv IEworst = 2,8 was characterized by water of the second class ("good", "pure"), third category ("good", "fairly clean"), subcategory 2-3 (water transitions in quality from "very good", "pure" to "good", "fairly clean") and subcategory 3 (2) ("good", "fairly clean" water with a bias to "very good", "clean"). Conclusions. In general, it should be noticed, that when calculating the values of integral ecological indexes, the value of the indexes of trophic and sapro-biological indicators are the worst. Compounds of Nitrogen was among the substances that determined the water quality as "very poor" and "very dirty". Increased levels of Nitrogen compounds in the Stokhid river is mainly due to the intake of insufficiently treated wastewater, surface runoff from agricultural land and the decomposition of non-living organic matter in the spring.

Ecological description of rare species of plants of Cheremskyi nature reserve included in international Red Lists

Purpose. Ecological description of rare species of plants of Cheremskyi nature reserve included in international Red lists and their distribution on territory of the Volyn area as of 2016. Methods. Comparatively-geographical, analytical, generalization, ystematizations, and also cartographic with the use of the computer programs of MapInfo Professional 8,0. Results. On the basis of analysis of the natural preservation network of the Volyn area certainly, that 3 objects of natural reserve fund have a most area on Volyn: Shatsk National Nature Park, National Nature Park “Prypiat – Stokhid” and Kivertsi Nаtional Nature Reserve «Tsuman Virgin Forest» in addition after an area Cheremskyi nature reserve is distinguished natural reserve thati s only on Volyn. It is in these objects of nature reserve fund is most of the species included in International Red Lists. It grows 6 species listed in Annex 1 of the Berne Convention (Aldrovanda vesiculosa L.), (Cypripedium calceolus L.), (Liparis loeselii (L.) Rich.), (Pulsatilla Latifolia Rupr. Pulsatilla), (Thesium ebracteatum Hayne), (Dicranum viride (Sull., Lesq.) Linbd.). Also grows 4 species listed in the IUCN Red List, European Red List: Crataegus ucrainica Pojark), (Cypripedium calceolus L.), (Silene lithuanica Zapal), (Tragopogon ucrainicus Artemcz). Species of plants included in to Annex 1 of the Berne Convention and Red list of the International union of conservancy, widespread as early as 4 landscape wildlife preserves, 1 to the forest wildlife preserve, 3 botanical wildlife preserves, 1 zoological wildlife reserve, and 3 botanical monument of nature, a total in 15 objects of nature reserve fund located throughout the region. Conclusions. Thus, analyzing the state of distribution in the Volyn region of the flora Cheremskyi nature reserve listed in the International Red Lists found that species growing within 15 separate nature protection objects that are not part of other objects of nature reserve fund, but the status and protection of rare form not always corresponds main goal, as the vast majority of them located within the forests where the active economic activity, therefore proposed a number of optimization measures.
