Erasmus+ Project «Integrated Doctoral Program For Environmental Policy, Management And Technology – Intense»: Progress Information And Planned Activity

One of the key planned outcomes of Erasmus+ project “Integrated Doctoral Program for Environmental Policy, Management and Technology – INTENSE” is development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)

About the Soil Conservation Information, Ethics and Ethical Standards

The purpose − to define some moral standards of ethical behaviour as a basis of rational use and soil protection. A careful altitude to soil, an ecological imperative - internal need of the head, the land user and the scientist. In mutual relations «state-land user» the actions harming of soil should be excluded. Questions are dis-cussed how to help the land user to use the information directed on soil preservation, how to reach profitableness of the agricultural enterprise, not having disturbed quality почв, what actions the state that soil-saving recommendations of scientists have found the way in practice, that is more important productive or ecological of soil functions should carry out. A compulsorily-incentive principle of the attitude of the state to the land user and subsidizing of agricultural activity should become the main things in soil-saving strategy of the state.

"Green routes" in the system of environmental management city territories in the example of Kharkov

Purpose. Substantiation and creation of "green routes" on the territory of the city of Kharkiv in the system of ecological management of urban areas, to meet the demand of the population. Methods. Fields, Greenways criteria, atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Results .The scientific and informational basis for creation of "green routes" and suggestions on criteria of their selection have been created. Complex assessment of the state of the environment was carried out to assess the conditions for the construction of "green routes". The results of the chemical analysis of soil samples and the study of the content of carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide in the air showed that no sample exceeded the MPC in any sample. Conclusions Based on the proposed criteria and results of the integrated environmental assessment, 8 conventional "green routes" have been identified for the territory of the Kharkiv city, their schemes and descriptions have been prepared. It is recommended to synchro-nize the developed routes with the planning structure of the city and, if possible, make them as an annex to the city master plan.

Approaches to the solution of solid waste disposal in the system of ecological management of territories

Modern environmental management system should be based not on generalized criteria and indicators included in the statistical database, and the individual characteristics of each locality as a separate socio-economic and environmental object relations "city-suburban zone." In this case, solving local environmental problems will be most effective. Purpose. To develop a system of indicators for solving the problem of solid waste disposal in the system of ecological management of territories. Results. According to the social criteria, the following indicators and characteristics of the locality are proposed: the population, the number of able-bodied population, the number of people actually working, the number of people working directly at their place of residence, the number of people working in the central cities, the number of educational and educational institutions, and Social institutions, availability of administrative management. The economic criteria include: the state of the road transport system, the commercial and industrial complex, the development of the settlement, recreation areas, artificial lighting of the settlement, housing and communal services. Among the natural factors that are used as criteria: the distance from the city center; Adjacent distance; Girder-beam system; The presence of water objects; Main environmental problems; Availability of territories and objects of the nature reserve fund; Land occupied by agriculture. Conclusions. Provided that it is properly created and implemented, the system will be separately (individually) developed by the system Ecological management of the territory, which includes all the current and actual indicators and criteria for a separate settlement.

Management Opportunities Salinization Alluvial Soils in the Flood Plains of Environmental Management System of Urban Areas

Purpose. Assessment of soil salinity alluvial flood plains r. Uda within the city Kharkiv and defining fea-tures of the profile distribution hloryd-, hidrokarbonat- and carbonate- ions in the soil profile to create a cluster alluvial soils in the flood plains environmental management system of urban areas.Methods. Complex field, chemical-analytical, statistical (interpolation, clustering, and so on.). Results. The soil salinization processes of the alluvial soils in the inundated landscapes of Uda river in Kharkiv’s range are investigated. The acid-alkaline characteristics of soil genetic horizons are evaluated, and the profile distribution of chloride, hydrocarbonate and carbonate ions in the soils profile of the investigated alluvial soils are showed. The stages of profile migration of the corresponding ions in the study area are evaluated, as well as the degree of salinity of each genetic horizon of the studied soils profiles are assessed. The predominance of progressive chloride-soda salinization of the alluvial soils in the inundated landscapes of Uda river in Kharkiv’s range is determined. The presence of natural height valuable sorption and chemisorption radial, mechanical and lateral acid-alkaline geochemical barrier in the research area is suggested. Conclusions. Proposed use parameters salinization of soils on alluvial flood plains in the cluster system of environmental management of urban areas.

Features Of Environmental Ngo’s In Ukrainian Society

Purpose. Investigate public confidence to environmental NGOs in Ukraine. Methods. Formalized interview, processing of sociological data. Results. The respondents trust environmental information from environmental NGOs more than information from local authorities. Conclusions. The urgent need is to spread information about the environment within Ukrainian society..

Soil Elementary Processes In The Inundated Landscapes Of Uda River In Kharkov’s Range

Purpose. The soil elementary processes (SEP) in the inundated landscapes of Uda river in Kharkiv’s range are investigated. Methods. Complex field, chemical analytical techniques and methods of data processing (including interpolation methods, clustering, and so on). Results. With the method of expert’s estimations the intensity of the soil elementary processes is gave to assessment to the territory of the study. The acid-alkaline characteristics of soil genetic horizons of inundated landscapes of Uda river in Kharkiv’s range are evaluated. The presence of natural height valuable sorption and chemisorption lateral acid-alkaline geochemical barrier in the research area is suggested. Conclusions. The most common and severe elementary processes of soil formation floodplain landscapes p. Uda within Kharkiv is humus-ilyuvialny and clay-ilyuvialny processes related to illuvial accumulation processes, ie, dominated by the processes of accumulation of matter and energy, which is indicative of the presence of natural geochemical barrier, due to the peculiarities of the relief and the composition of the parent rocks.

Environmental Geochemical Characteristics of Chemical Elements Migration in Flood Areas of Urban Landscapes

Under the influence of natural factors urbohennyh nature and intensity of migration of chemical elements and compounds in the flooded areas substantially changed. The results of the migration of chemical elements (dispersion and concentration) are displayed in species biodiversity and other fitotsienotychnyh indicators and indicators of soil condition.

Humus Horizon Of Urban Soils As A Geochemical Barrier In Urban Landscape

The increase of humus to the emergence of techno and organosorbtion geochemical barrier in the surface lay-ers of urban soils, which contributes to the consolidation of heavy metals and increases the contrast anomalies. Total content of heavy metals in the surface layer of urban soils confirms deposit pollution geochemical barrier humus layer of the soil. The distribution of heavy metals in soil south-eastern city of Kharkiv indicates a certain level of contamination exceeding the industrial area of residential and sanitary protection for Zn and Pb. Land-scape-geochemical state of the city are promoting priority pollutants on the alkaline and biogeochemical barriers in soil and plants. It can be assumed that a mechanism of self-regulation urban landscape that manifests itself in enhanced feedback and confirmed the existence of the identified features of the urban soils.

Evolution of the soil profile as factor and effect biological evolution

Defined especially the transformation of the soil profile over time according to changes in ecological community of the region and the mechanism of reverse protsesa, the presence of dominant dynamic elementary and general pochvoformiruyuschih processes, namely humus accumulation, carbonation, decomposition and leaching of MgO, Al2O3 and Fe2O3, SiO2 accumulation and CaO. You can distinguish the main evolutionary trend - Climatogenic steppe formation: the offensive zone on the steppe steppe.
