The use of constructive-geographical approach as a methodological basis for planning the territorial organi-zation of coastal zones within settlements is discussed in the article. The author emphasizes the importance of introduction of efficient nature management principles to the planning process with the aim to harmonize rela-tions between man and nature, to create a comfortable for living and sustainable environment in settlements.
