Assessment of the Atmospheric Air Quality Within the Main Вus Stations Kharkiv

Purpose. The aim of the paper is determine of atmospheric air quality withim the main Bus Stations in Kharkiv. Methods. The following methods were used: filed, laboratory and statistical ones. Results. The results of the researches was found that the content of dust, carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide in the atmospheric air of the city of Kharkiv around Bus stations №1 " Avtovokzal", № 3 " Kinnyj Rynok", № 6 "Zavodska", and Kholodna Gora Terminal higher than MACs. The highest concentrations of pollutants were identified around Bus stations Nr 6 “Zavodska” and Kholodna Gora Terminal. It have shown a tendency to increase in atmospheric air concentrations of gasoline, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide. The temporal tendency to increase in atmospheric air concentrations of gasoline, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide was revealed. Conclusions. The detected excess of the MPC of harmful substances in the atmospheric air of the city of Kharkiv in the districts of the bus stations indicates a difficult situation with the quality of atmospheric air in the cities of intensive traffic, especially in the respiration zone of children. Recommendations aimed at improvement of air quality was proposed.

Current use of air monitoring dioxin

The analysis of sources of dioxin emissions and ways of their migration in the environment are calculated gross of dioxin emissions from a number of branches of enterprises of Industry, estimated dioxin on the border of the SPZ of several companies and calculated individual carcinogenic risk from inhalation route of exposure to dioxins.

Analysis and Assessment of the Air Pollution Level of Kharkiv

Purpose. Analysis and assessment of the Kharkov atmospheric air in the period 2010-2015 based on annual observations of air pollution. Methods. Theoretical analysis and synthesis. Results. The estimation of the ecological state of atmospheric air in the city of Kharkiv. Based on the analysis of the results of observations of the Kharkiv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology investigated the dynamics of changes in air pollution levels during the 2010-2015 gg. The list of main pollutants (formaldehyde, dust, carbon monoxide, soot, phenol, nitrogen dioxide) and the contribution of each of them in the general level of air pollution. The comparative analysis of the level of air pollution in different parts of the city. Conclusions. Air quality in a scale pollution index meets the evaluation "slightly polluted". Maximum air pollution in the Shevchenko district, Kharkov. To improve air quality in the priority should be regarded as a set of measures to reduce emissions from road transport as a major source of air pollution.

Assessment of Atmospheric Air Pollution in the Capital Macroregion of Ukraine

Purpose. The research paper deals with the study of ecological conditions of the regions of the Capital makroregion of Ukraine through the dynamics of atmospheric air pollution.Methods. Analysis and synthesis of information Results. It is noted that the environmental factor influence economic activity within the regions and is reflected in the sectoral and territorial structure of the economy, its specialization, the way of using natural resources. The level of atmospheric air pollution in the Capital Makroregion of Ukraine was compared based on systematization of statistical data. Sectional data analysis shows that carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide prevail in the emissions of atmospheric air pollutants by motor vehicles. Conclusions. The recommendations regarding the implementation of an efficient environmental strategy which should be aimed at ensuring the interaction between economic development and environmental protection are provided.

Mapping of ecological conditions of atmospheric air, surface and ground waters in Kharkiv region

Key factors of atmospheric air, surface and ground waters’pollution have been determined.Main directions in mapping of ecological conditions and environmental protection have been presented in the paper. Examples and contents of series of ecological maps of environment’s dynamic components of Kharkiv region have been given.

Structure and dynamics of atmospheric air pollution Kharkiv region

Based on the graphical analysis of the dynamics of pollutant emissions in the whole region, as well as, separate-ly, from stationary, mobile (vehicles) sources and from other mobile sources of pollution, found that the largest share of emissions into the atmosphere give stationary sources - namely, the production and electricity, gas and water. Analyze changes in emissions of each pollutant in the total emissions annually. It is found that the stationary sources emit more carbon dioxide emissions in mobile vehicles predominant sources of carbon oxide and by air, rail and other transport ejected more nitrogen oxide and carbon monoxide.
