Determination of properties self-organization fluvial relief through fractal characteristics catchment hydrological regime

The focus of this paper is on some fundamental principles of the fluvial topography watershed complexity and or-deliness concept. The relevant research approach has been represented. Its content implies the definition of fractal characteristics for two key component of a watershed system – topography and hydrology – upon changes of other environmental factors. The fractal methodology has been proved as that one which can be efficiently employed for revealing complicated interrelations between flood developing and fluvial geomorphic process intensity in a watershed. Relevant modeling results have been presented in the original software interface

On Some Key Principles Hydrological Simulation To Work With Geospatial Information

The paper represents the general concept of the watershed distributed models. Some fundamental peculiari-ties of the GIS-models for watershed hydrology have been discussed as well as key issues relevant to the distributed hydrological modeling done. In addition the geospatial data concept has been outlined in details, since this data accepted as the initial data sources for the GIS-modeling in the relevant domain. The paper has given some relevant examples from both well-known GIS, and author’s original software.

Distributed hydrological modeling GIS-interface

The paper introduces some GIS-modeling theoretical basics and applied software implementation through author’s software for processing, analysis and visualization of the extreme channel discharges upon spring floods and shortly discusses model peculiarities for summer rainfall. The following definitions have been discussed: “a distributed hydrological model”, “and extreme channel discharge from spring flood”, “the extreme channel discharge from summer rainfall”, “the distributed hydrological modeling GIS-module interface”. The procedures of the watershed hydrological regime distributed modeling have been described in details, as well as the original software user’s interface for the GIS-module elaborated.
