Response characteristics of distribution of total ozone in the earth's atmosphere to change the surface temperature of the central equatorial sector Pacific

Based on current understanding of the factors spatial and temporal variability of total ozone in the Earth's atmos-phere, it seems likely that the cause of the high correlation of areas located in the eastern hemisphere (above the Indian Ocean and Africa Coy) may be the link between changes in surface temperatures in the eastern different sectors-tropical zones of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

The Change In Distribution Of Average Annual Surface Temperature Atlantic Ocean Under Modern Climate Warming (ru)

Surface temperatures of many waters in the Atlantic Ocean during the period of the modern warming rising steadily, driven by a reduction of its apvelings and increase the flow of heat delivered from the South Atlantic jet northern South Equatorial Current. In the period of 2002 - 2011 years. Atlantic warming has stopped. In subsequent years, the twenty-first century, probably reducing its surface temperature, which could lead to a cooling of the climate in Europe and North America.

Statistical relations features between changes of Caribbean sea surface temperatures and solar activity

Paper deals with statistical relations between Caribbean sea surface temperature variations and solar ac-tivity. With the use of correlation analysis between time series of mean year temperatures changes, their anoma-lies index and Wolf numbers, hypothesis of the Caribbean Sea surface temperatures variations delay caused by solar activity changes was tested. It was found that the features of sub-Antarctic intermediate waters circulation of the Atlantic Ocean cause the presence of a significant statistical relations between Caribbean Sea average surface temperatures changes and solar activity variations, that are advancing them approximately on 200 years. Developed ultralong-range forecast of Caribbean Sea average surface temperatures changes show that until the middle of the XXI century downward trend will dominate, and further, to the end of it, – upward.

Atmospheric circulation in the Northern Hemisphere and the Arctic oscillation

The conditions under which the statistical relationships interannual change in the total duration of the period prevalence in the northern hemisphere elementary circulation mechanisms regarding classification BL Dzerdievskogo groups meridional North and South meridional, with variations of the state of the Arctic oscillation, are significant. It is shown that in the contemporary period, changes in the characteristics of these connections may be due to changes in the distribution of surface temperature of the oceans.
